Different cheats and hints.

Bloody Palace Mode:
Complete the game with both Lucia and Dante to unlock Bloody Palace mode. Completing both Lucia Must Die and Dante Must Die modes will unlock Bloody Palace II.

Unlock Dante Must Die Mode:
Complete the game on Hard with Dante to unlock Dante Must Die mode.

Unlock Lucia Must Die Mode:
Complete the game on Hard with Lucia to unlock Lucia Must Die mode.

Unlock Mission Select:
Complete the game once with either Lucia or Dante to unlock Mission Select.

Unlock Trish:
Complete the game on Hard with Dante to unlock Trish.

Bonus Costumes:
Completing the game once with Dante will unlock his first costume. Completing Dante Must Die mode will unlock his second costume.

Completing the game once with Lucia will unlock her first costume, and completing the game on Hard will unlock her second. To unlock her third costume, complete Lucia Must Die Mode.
