Nyko to launch large gaming giveaway

Contest end will coincide with website relaunch.
Nyko Technologies will re-launch the company web site with an online contest: Online Gamer's Ultimate Fantasy. Gamers can enter and play to win thousands of dollars in prizes at http://www.nyko.com today through Jan. 25, 2004.
Nyko's web site will feature a new design of the Nyko logo to reflect the current direction of Nyko, and comprehensive information on the manufacturer's full product lineup.
"Since its founding, Nyko has been a pioneer of inventive peripherals," said Susan Corben, director of marketing, Nyko Technologies. "We want the re-launched site to reflect Nyko's continued dedication to provide an unsurpassed gaming experience, as well as the company's new direction into consumer electronics and personal computing."
As an illustration of the commitment to deliver consumers technology that solves problems, Nyko will give the Grand Prize winner of the contest its flagship product, the Wireless Net Extender. Completely plug-n-play, the Wireless Net Extender puts broadband Internet securely in any room of the house, without cables or programming, ideally suited for online gaming on any console.
"Online Gamer's Ultimate Fantasy" has three levels of participation: fans can simply enter to win; sign up friends and family for additional points; or, play Nyko's mini-game Air Flo Blast for increased chances to win. Air Flo Blast will be a three-level mini action game.
Contest winners will be announced online at http://www.Nyko.com in February 2004. The Grand Prize Winner will receive one of each prize. Prizes will also be given for first, second, third, and runner-up placements.
