New Notebook targets professional gamers
by Jolex Del Pilar

Tuesday, January 20, 2004

Cyber gamer equipment sure looks pretty.

VoodooPC today announced that the Company’s ENVY m:855 Athlon 64 Gamebook has been re-launched to suit professional gamers.

“Pro gaming has accelerated to new levels and it’s only a matter of time before it becomes as mainstream as snowboarding” says Rahul Sood, President & CTO of VoodooPC. “It seemed only natural to target the Envy m:855 to professional gamers. By combining a 128 Megabyte ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro and an AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Processor we clearly have developed the world’s fastest notebook for professional gamers.”

Professional Gamers attend gaming competitions worldwide. The ENVY m:855 Gamebook is designed to be portable and powerful while maintaining ridiculous battery life.

VoodooPC’s m:855 is equipped with the AMD Athlon 64 3400+, a Hitachi 7200 RPM Hard Drive, an ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro 128 megabyte video card, and a gaming optimized 15” LCD Display.
