New World War II game set to launch in Q3 2002. Codemasters to develop.
Codemasters has announced the purchase of worldwide publishing rights to World War II: D-Day to Berlin (a working title). The PC real-time action/strategy game—which is being created by the long-time United Kingdom-based development house, The Bitmap Brothers—is scheduled to ship in Q3 2002.
The title will reportedly put the player into the shoes of the Allied commander, who must then drive the effort to stem the flow of Axis troops through Europe.
