5,000 random gamers will be chosen to participate in the beta test.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced plans to open up beta testing of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos for 5,000 randomly chosen players from the U.S. and Canada. Signups to be in the drawing will begin on January 8 at 2am ET and be available for 24 hours.
The beta of the forthcoming PC real-time strategy will be playable only over Blizzard’s Battle.net online service. More details about the beta test are available on a dedicated webpage.
