The P5 enables users to control images, computer 3D graphics, on-screen characters and in-game action with only “discrete” movements of the fingers.
Essential Reality, LLC today announced that it will be showing off its new P5 glove peripheral at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The glove was first seen in an early state at E3 2001 and showed great promise.
The P5 enables users to control images, computer 3D graphics, on-screen characters and in-game action with only “discrete” movements of the fingers. Fully USB compliant, the device will work on Windows 98, XP, 2000 and ME, as well as Mac OS9 and OSX.
David Devor, the company’s vice president of marketing, said that a substantial number of developers have applied for the P5 software development kit (SDK), which gives developers the ability to incorporate Essential Reality’s code into their creations.
If you are attending CES, visit Essential Reality at Booth 15649 in Exhibit Hall South.
