Ever wanted to build your own casino? Not likely, but now you can on your PC.
An interesting announcement fell into our boxes today as Sierra announced the development of a new "Casino" sim.
We've captured the essence of Las Vegas, from the massive scale of the buildings and structures to the sights and sounds that you'd really see in a casino," said Steve Beinner, product manager for Casino Empire.
In Casino Empire, players take control of a Las Vegas casino and do everything necessary to make it succeed, including populating casinos with the most popular (and profitable) games, handling comps, and attracting high rollers. Each level provides players with new objectives, challenges, and an opportunity to gain prestige, wealth, and status. Along the way, gamers meet a host of helpful characters and have the full resources of their growing casino empire at their disposal. From milking the big spenders, to positioning the most popular slot machines near the cash machines, it's all Vegas, all the time with Casino Empire.
The game is due for a Fall 2002 release.
