SSI obtains rights to Eve Online: The Second Genesis by

MMOG will be huge space based strategy game that will feature a dynamic online universe.
Simon and Schuster Interactive (SSI) announced today that it has obtained the North American and European rights to Eve Online: The Second Genesis.
Eve Online is a space trading/combat, Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) for the PC. It will allow up to 100,000 simultaneous gamers to play on its 3D galaxy, which will contain 5000 solar systems. Players can choose to play as five different species and will be able to customize and pilot over 40 space ships.
Eve Online is in development by Crowd Control Productions of Reykjavik, Iceland, and currently has 35,000 people signed up to take part in the game’s beta test. The title is set to launch this fall.
