UNIQUE FEATURES
Face of Mankind will revolutionize the area of online games and add many unique gameplay features to the genre.
[-] Face of Mankind combines a real-time first person shooter feeling with a complex economic system and everything is surrounded by an epic story.
[-] There a 5 huge cities, each consisting of different zones, and many distant colonies in outer space.
[-] It has an ever evolving plot that changes as the players do, and so it always feels like you are a part of something.
[-] FoM has a very sophisticated ranking system that is more a form of structured stages than experience levels, although experience plays a part in increasing players ranks. The system includes a comprehensive mission system. Each of these missions can be very complex and multilayered and last up to one week or longer.
[-] There are 10 individual organisations: 3 government institutions, 4 companies and 3 main clans, all controlled by players and each of them having their own campaigns with unlimited conflicts and relations between them, beyond the simple good and bad stereotypes.
[-] Becoming a member of one of the 4 companies introduces one of the most unique feature of Face of Mankind and for this game genre: An Economic System.
[-] The economic system will influence all the game elements, even the story itself. This brings a lot more new features into this genre and combines tactical and strategic gaming elements with action and combats.
[-] The economic system is composed of three sections: Mining, Production and Financing & Sales. Mining consists of diminishing raw materials from the outer planets and making a profit from these raw materials. Production is the part where these materials are produced into lots of different objects and components. Finally, Financing & Sales will be the task to efficiently offer products on the markets ahead of its competition.
