Download the Plateosaurus free from the official website.
Zookeepers have another dinosaur they can now use to attract park attendees, the Plateosaurus. Microsoft Game Studios and Blue Fang Games today made the herbivore available for use with the "Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs" expansion pack. Plateosaurus can be added to a park by visiting the game's official site, at www.zootycoon.com/dinosaurdigs.
Plateosaurus, otherwise known as "flat lizard," first roamed the Earth approximately 220 million years ago. With its long neck and tail and powerful hind legs, Plateosaurus possessed the ability to reach foliage high above ground. A typical Plateosaurus was 27 feet in length, and when standing on its hind legs could reach heights of more than 14 feet. Even though it was not known for being the wisest of the dinosaurs, Plateosaurus was smart enough to travel in packs to avoid attacks from the meat eaters.
It is no secret that the folks at Blue Fang Games are keeping busy developing projects for the "Zoo Tycoon" franchise. Nevertheless, Blue Fang was able to take time out to develop the Plateosaurus download, adding to an impressive list of downloadable content. The team is back in the drawing room developing new ideas, several of which are based on feedback from "Zoo Tycoon's" loyal and devoted fans.
Now on store shelves, "Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs" is the latest addition to the "Zoo Tycoon" franchise. A fun and creative expansion pack, "Dinosaur Digs" works with the existing "Zoo Tycoon" game by enabling players to evolve their zoos with more than 20 ferocious dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts. The family-friendly PC game allows players to uncage their imaginations and create the ultimate zoo - using dinosaur-themed buildings and attractions, new staff members and prehistoric objects such as volcanoes and tar pits - while six new scenarios test their zoo management skills. "Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs" was developed by Blue Fang Games LLC.
