New "Marine Mania" will release the marine biologist in all of us.
Microsoft Game Studios announced that virtual zookeepers can begin learning about the new crop of attractions at Microsoft's official Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania site, www.zootycoon.com/marinemania. Those who visit the site will find a list of the expansion pack's features, a number of in-game screenshots, a download section, tips and hints that will aid even the veteran Zoo Tycoon player, links to popular Zoo Tycoon fan sites, and a news section where players can read up on all of the latest Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania happenings. In addition, Microsoft will update the official Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania site regularly until the expansion pack's release, revealing new animals and gameplay features. The first batch of screenshots introduces the tiger shark, manta ray, and the various dolphin tricks. Also showcased is a new gameplay feature that loyal Zoo Tycoon fans have requested, the ability to pick up and move guests around the zoo. The Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania expansion pack seamlessly integrates with Zoo Tycoon, allowing players to immediately add aquatic creatures to their ultimate zoos. In addition to offering new creatures ranging from the great white shark to the giant squid, Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania allows players to enhance their zoos with customizable aquatic shows including a dolphin show. Zoo guests can now enjoy attractions such as the shark tunnel and the dolphin ride, which enables them to swim with the dolphins. Players can enrich their marine exhibits with a variety of objects, including more than 20 new marine animals, five new animal toys and sunken treasure. Developed by Blue Fang Games LLC, the Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania expansion pack will hit store shelves in October.
