Alienware revealing new mobile look
by VGLN Staff

Sunday, May 18, 2003

New laptops will be unveiled at E3.

Alienware® has announced the launch of a new exclusive case design and new feature set for its award-winning mobile systems. The leading manufacturer of high-performance computer desktop and mobile systems, Alienware maintains its position at the forefront of the industry and continues a strong tradition of innovation and dedication to deliver the best possible products to its customers. Alienware is the first specialty system builder to offer an exclusive case of its own design for both its desktop and mobile systems.

“Response to our new desktop case design earlier this year has been overwhelming,” said Kevin Wasielewski, Vice President of Marketing for Alienware Corporation. “The new exclusive design and features for our mobile systems will surely create as much, if not more excitement and we are proud to be unveiling it at E3.”

The new Alienware mobile systems will not only boast a sleek new magnesium alloy chassis, but will also feature some robust system enhancements, including:

· Innovative upgradeable mobile video card design

· Choice between the latest nVidia or ATI 128 MB mobile video cards

· Choice between 16.1" UXGA LCD or 15.4" WideSXGA+ LCD

· Custom Alienware Metallic Colors

· Built-in 802.11g wireless networking technology

· Built-in 3-in-1 Media Card Reader

· 800MHz Front Side Bus CPU Support

· Dual Hard drive capability

· Built-in Digital 5.1 surround sound support

· Built-in front infrared port and remote control
