iGames Publishing has launched the next phase of beta testing for its real-time-strategy-shooter(RTSS), Savage: The Battle for Newerth. This next phase will open the beta test up to an additional 2000 players – an amount that will double shortly thereafter at the third beta testing stage. Gamers can apply to take part in the beta test at the following URL: beta.s2games.com.
The latest build of the game features several gameplay enhancements that improve the overall playability of the game. It also features the debut of the “Beast Horde,” an entirely new playable race within the game. A forthcoming announcement will reveal all of the details of this new race.
“We received so much constructive feedback from the participants in our initial phase of beta testing and we were able to implement an incredible amount of suggestions,” said Jesse Hayes, COO of S2 Games. “We’re really excited about this most recent build and especially can’t wait to introduce the ‘Beast Horde’ – we think people will be blown away!”
