Pay to play might not evoke Jedi-like thoughts from gamers...
LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) announced that the upcoming massively multiplayer online game for the PC, Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided will be released on June 26.
The title will have a retail price of $49.95 and come with a 30-day free trial subscription to the game. A collector’s edition will also be released, which, for $79.95, will include a book of art from the game, in-game wearable items, a pewter figurine, lapel pin, patch and a signed manual.
Perhaps most interesting to gamers is the price to play this gem. A month-to-month subscription plan to the game will cost $14.99. Options will also be in place for gamers to sign up for three months at a time ($14.00 per month), six months ($13.00 per month) and 12 months ($12.00 per month). Pricy but affordable.
