S2 Games and iGames Publishing announced an official release date of August 25, 2003 for the highly anticipated PC game Savage: The Battle for Newerth. Savage is currently in the second phase of beta testing and is expected to move to an open beta towards the end of July.
“We have been continuing to implement suggestions from the thousands of gamers currently taking part in the beta test,” said Jesse Hayes, COO of S2 Games. “We recently introduced the beast horde into the game and will spend the remaining time period tweaking and balancing the game to ensure a solid and competitive gameplay experience.”
Savage will ship to retail on August 25th, but can be pre-ordered online at Electronics Boutique or Gamestop.
