Vivendi Universal Games and developer Relic Entertainment announced that their PC title Homeworld 2 has gone gold and will ship to North American stores on September 16.
The space-based game which featured a highly popular previous chapter in the original Homeworld will contain an even larger single player adventure, and multiplayer experience.
Pre-order campaigns at Buy, GameStop, Amazon.com, Musicland and CompUSA will give consumers a Homeworld 2 bonus disc that contains concept art, a trailer and poster and more.
The game has been rated “T” (Teen) and will have a suggested retail price of $49.99.
