Check out in game footage of this ocean bound MMORPG.
Seafaring warriors have a lot to celebrate with the recent release of “Master and Commander” and the upcoming Flying Lab Software’s oceanic MMORPG, Pirates of the Burning Sea. Flying Lab's today released their own movie showcasing in-game footage of ship combat, day and night scenes, and detailed, historically accurate ships, such as the Flute and Xebec, that incorporate up to 350,000 polygons per ship. As day moves into night, Pirate’s lighting and sea effects will also astonish viewers. Twenty-two ships will be found in the final game, which is due to release in Spring of 2004.
The Pirates of the Burning Sea movie can be found at http://www.nvidia.com/object/nzone_piratesburnsea_video.html.
Screen shots of the game, community forums and well-researched and detailed information on the game and sea vessels can also be found at http://www.flyinglab.com.
