Jaleco's event will pit the best virtual aces against each other in air combat.
Jaleco Entertainment announced the First Annual Massive Air Combat Event (MACE) Invitational, to be held on the company's Fighter Ace game servers on the weekend of January 2-4, 2004. MACE will pit the best virtual combat pilots from around the world against each other in a weekend full of individual and team-based tournaments and historical recreations.
In the two weeks prior to MACE, Fighter Ace Volunteer Group (FAVG) instructor pilots will hold a variety of Air Combat training classes to help new players become acclimated to the Fighter Ace environment. Training classes range from a brief introduction for veterans of the genre to complete training courses for players who have never touched a joystick before.
New subscribers are entitled to a two-week free trial period starting December 23, 2003. This offer includes two weeks of Air Combat training and the weekend full of tournaments. The game client, currently at version 3.61, is available as a free download at http://fighterace.jaleco.com and can be ordered on CD from Gigex.com at www.gigex.com/cdstore/PopUpCD.asp?PID=80016&packageID=0053800007&source=00538.
Fighter Ace is a 3D massively multi-player aerial combat game and features over 100 realistically modeled vintage fighters and bombers from World War II. Fighter Ace has provided an arena for virtual pilots to prove "they know how to fly" since 1996. Now in its third major release, Fighter Ace continues to set the standard for gaming environment, player community, and technical support. Fighter Ace is developed and published by Jaleco Entertainment. For more information, visit http://fighterace.jaleco.com
