As with many online games, some minor changes reflect the Christmas season.
This week, Disney's Toontown Online was transformed into a holiday wonderland. The seasonal festivities are in full swing with colorful lights on trees and presents in the playgrounds, setting a merry mood in the game.
Toons will be able to do their holiday shopping and purchase special seasonal items from Clarabelle’s Cattlelog, including snowflake and candy cane shirts, as well as SpeedChat phrases such as ‘Happy holidays”, “Let it snow”, and “Yule be sorry,” which will give Toons new ways to express themselves this holiday season. To celebrate the new year hourly fireworks displays will go off in each of the playgrounds, with a different show in each one, on December 31 and January 1. In additional news, from December 26 through December 31, Toons will compete in the first Top Toons Marathon, with rewards being given for many achievements including most Cogs defeated, most fish caught and most buildings recovered. The top three winners in each category, which will be announced on January 9, will win 1,000 jellybeans.
