Newest patch brings game to version 1.60

Matrix Games (http://www.matrixgames.com) is pleased to announce that the new v.1.60 update for Eric Young’s Squad Assault: West Front by DAS Entertainment (http://www.d-a-s.com/entertainment) and Freedom Games (http://www.freedomgamesinc.com) is now available for download.

Comments and requests submitted on the Matrix Games forums and by e-mail have been incorporated into this release. Changes and fixes in v1.60 include more Windows 98/ME enhancements, LOS and targeting improvements and solutions for some map-specific issues.

Also included for download are the new v1.60 demo, with all the v1.60 fixes, an extra map and a demo update for those with previous demos.

In Squad Assault: West Front, you command troops in both the Allied and German Armies of the West Front of World War II.
