TimeSplitters 2 in development for PS2

Xbox and Gamecube versions planned as well for Fall 2002 release.

Eidos Interactive revealed today that its upcoming TimeSplitters sequel is in development for the Xbox and GameCube as well as for the PlayStation 2.

TimeSplitters 2 is set for a fall 2002 release, and is in the hands of Free Radical Design, who also created the first title.

The game will include many of the features from the original—including the MapMaker—and also boasts a new game engine, which will allow for higher detailed graphics and special effects.
