June 30th is it for "The Mark of Kri". More info to be released at E3.
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has set a release date of June 30 for its PlayStation 2 title The Mark of Kri.
The first-party action/adventure is a PS2 exclusive, and lets gamers take on the role of Rau, a warrior who attempts to prevent an ancient spell from being invoked. A loyal spirit guide named Kuzo, who appears in the shape of a large black bird, aids Rau throughout the game.
Rau will have four weapons at his disposal (broadsword, battle axe, spear and bow and arrow) and gamers are promised improved control of them through the game’s combat system. The right analog stick can be used to “lock-on” to up to nine foes at a time and helps in performing combination moves.
The Mark of Kri is rated “M” (Mature) and is being developed by SCEA’s San Diego studio.
