James Bond 007: Nightfire will get Brosnan's face.
Electronic Arts has reached an agreement with actor Pierce Brosnan in order to use the Bond actor’s likeness in its upcoming videogame James Bond 007: Nightfire.
The game’s storyline was created exclusively for the game project, which is in development for the PC by Gearbox Software, while Ea and Eurocom Entertainment Software and handling console development of the title.
James Bond 007: Nightfire is scheduled to release simultaneously on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and PC in late 2002. While not based upon movie storyline, the games will nonetheless be released the same month as Die Another Day, the latest Bond feature, which is scheduled to hit theatres November 22.
