Most sequel fun for the PS2 as Summoner 2 ships to retail stores September 13th.

THQ Inc. will ship its PlayStation 2 role-playing sequel, Summoner 2, to retailers on September 13.

Developed by THQ studio Volition, the title has players guiding Maia, Queen of the Halassar, and her traveling group through over 30 locales. Parties may be customized to include special skill sets and spells. Summoner 2 also boasts an enhanced game engine and real-time combat.

THQ has released a video interview with the game’s main characters entitled The Interview, a follow up to a similar comedy sketch, Summoner Geeks, released to promote the first title.
