Based on the 1991 conflict, the game puts you in the shoes of elite SAS and Delta Force units.
Gotham Games, the new Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. division, has released Conflict: Desert Storm for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC platforms. Based on the events of the 1991 Gulf War, the title will pit gamers as U.S. Delta Force or British Special Air Service (SAS) members as they attempt to stop Saddam and Iraq’s reign of terror. Players will operate in four-man teams across 15 missions. Gotham enlisted Cameron Spence, an ex SAS officer, to help add realism to the game. Conflict: Desert Storm is rated “T” (Teen) across all platforms. Xbox and PS2 versions have an MSRP of $49.99, while the PC product is suggested to sell for $39.99. A GameCube version is due out next year.
