Tony Hawk isn't the only license that can sell games based on skate boarding.
Electronic Arts and Fox Interactive have released The Simpsons Skateboarding for the PlayStation 2 in North America. The title features nine playable characters from the show, with each containing over 40 unique skateboard moves. Modes of play include Freeskate, Skate Fest, Trick Contest, H-O-R-S-E and a pre-game learning mode dubbed Skillz School. Up to two players can compete in the game, in which the town of Springfield is made-over as a sprawling skate park. Developed by UK-based The Code Monkeys, The Simpsons Skateboarding is rated “T” (Teen) and has an MSRP of $39.99.
