Enix America Inc. has released its action mech robot game Robot Alchemic Drive (R.A.D.) to retail outlets nationwide.
The PlayStation 2 features 120-foot transforming robots battling it out. Robots are controlled by on-screen human players, who must be aware of their environment and be ready to move to safer ground in order to avoid falling debris and robots. Players can shift their control between both the robot and its human operator. The title contains 14 robots in all and seven urban areas to wage war in, which feature fully destructible buildings, power lines and cars. A two-player mode is also included for head-to-head robot battles.
Rated “T” (Teen), R.A.D. carries an MSRP of $49.99.
