Next title will release in Spring 2003.
The 3DO Co. has released details on the next installment in its baseball franchise.
High Heat 2004 will be released this spring, including first-time Xbox and GameCube versions, which will join PC, PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance products. This year’s version will contain new motion capture animations, a new animation system and a new graphics engine. A new mode of play has been added as well, Two on Two Showdown, which will pit a single pitcher and batter against each other in a one inning contest.
Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Curt Schilling remains the game’s cover athlete and spokesman. A portion of proceeds from the game’s sale will go to the Schilling-created charity, Curt's Pitch for ALS, which benefits those with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
