Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance goes double platinum

2,000,000 units have sold since November 2002.

Midway Games announced today that Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance has sold-through more than two million units worldwide in combined sales, across all platforms, between its November 22, 2002 launch and July 8, 2003. The game is currently available for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, as well as the other next-gen consoles.

“Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance took gamers by storm, and these numbers prove the franchise is continuing to define the fighting genre,” said Helene Sheeler, vice president of marketing, Midway.
