Platformer getting lots of industry buzz.
Ubisoft announced today that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system is shipping for retail this week. Sharing some similarities to Ico from SCEA (a good thing), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time features a platforming experience that many have already lauded.
"We anticipate that this game will be one of the biggest blockbusters of the holiday season and expect Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time to re-establish the classic franchise as a gaming powerhouse," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubisoft.
