Midway Games today announced the launch of the official website for The Suffering. Players can now step into the seedy underbelly of a maximum security penitentiary that is The Suffering by visiting http://thesuffering.midway.com.
The Suffering is a horror based game set in the confines of a prison. Players will be placed in a maximum security penitentiary in the role of Torque, an inmate accused of a brutal crime he may or may not have committed. Trapped in thisenvironment and beset by horrific creatures, Torque is constantly challenged to stay alive and wield all manner of weapons in his fight to escape the nightmare that has been unleashed on Abbott Penitentiary.
The Suffering will be available on March 8, 2004 for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.
