Ed Fries leaving Microsoft

Looks like Microsoft didn't want Fries with that.

Reuters is reporting that Ed Fries, corporate vice president of Games Publishing at Microsoft Corp., has resigned from the company.

An email from senior vice president and chief Xbox officer Robbie Bach announced the resignation, in which Bach stated that Fries, “Has made the decision to leave the company and pursue other goals."

Shane Kim, chief operating officer of Microsoft Game Studios, will replace Fries until a replacement can be found.
