XSN Sports Champion crowned

XSN's first online sports champion is from Chapel Hill, NC.
David Muellerweiss of Chapel Hill, North Carolina defeated Nat Barrick of My. Holly Springs, Pennsylvania to become the winner of the Microsoft-sponsored XSN Sports World Championship.
Eight finalists in all competed in person at the event, held at Los Angeles’ House of Blues. Muellerweiss defeated Barrick in a game of NBA Inside Drive 2004 to claim his piece of the $25,000 offered in total prizes.
Competitors had to play through multiple sports games to advance throughout the tournament, including NFL Fever 2004, NHL Rivals 2004, Amped 2, Top Spin, and Links 2004. NBA Inside Drive 2004 was chosen for the final round as a nod to the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend.
