Zelda and Mario Sunshine first impressions

We just got done playing Zelda Cube and Mario Sunshine and I have to say most of the staff was impressed.

Mario Sunshine was very similar to Mario 64 except with much more tricks that Mario can perform. Mario can blast upward and hover with his water backpack and also convert that backpack into a water gun. The water gun seems to have no affect on stronger characters but will defeat most smaller enemies. The control was vewry intuitive and the bosses will promise to be fun to beat.

Zelda Cube was also very impressive. The game features the same targetting system that Ocarina of Time had, however that isn't a bad thing. The enemies disappear in a cloud of cartoon smoke when you beat them, a very nice touch. The whole game comes off like a very well drawn cartoon. However, the new look will take some time to get used to and I for one am still trying to get used to it. In the end, Miyamoto seems to have created another game for the ages, regardless of its controversial look. Good job Shiggy!
