SNK NEOGEO USA, the US publishing arm of the SNK NEOGEO CORPORATION, announced today that they will be releasing The King of Fighters 2002 and 2003 combo pack for PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system in November 2004. This ultimate double pack collection of 2D fighting will be specially priced at $39.99.
Since 1994, The King of Fighters series has appeared on a variety of gaming platforms, as well as in the arcade, where it has garnered a legion of fans. Over 3 million copies of the series have sold to date.
A total of 44 characters from KOF 96 through KOF 2001 will be available in KOF 2002 to use as well as a 3 on 3 battle format.
KOF 2003 features a total of 35 characters and the new "Multi-Shift" system, allowing the free substitution of teammates during battles.
