Mforma Group, Inc. has acquired United Kingdom-based mobile game developer Blue Beck.
Founded in 2001 by Peter Scott and Eric Hobson, Blue Beck will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mforma, with all of its employees remaining on-board in the company’s Manchester location, which Scott will continue to run. Hobson has been named commercial director for Mforma’s European region.
Daniel Kranzler, CEO of Mforma, said of Blue Beck, "They are one of the most talented, consistent, disciplined, and prolific developers we've worked with, and we are very pleased to have them on our team. Together we will streamline and more efficiently respond to the growing demand for mobile entertainment products from our wireless carrier customers around the world, which now number more than 100.”
