Nyko Technologies has produced a headset alternative for use with Xbox Live voice enabled games - the Nyko SpeakerCom. The controller-mounted SpeakerCom allows players to speak and listen without mounting a headset.

The SpeakerCom features a self-muting microphone designed to reduce background noise as well as a crisp loudspeaker which allows the entire room to take part in the game. The SpeakerCom mounts to the existing Xbox Live Adapter and fits any Xbox controller with two expansion ports. The SpeakerCom comes with full volume control and mute button, enabling the user to set the speaker at a comfortable noise level
