SP Camo Workshop and Shrapnel Games would like to announce that there is a new patch available for Steel Panthers Modern Battle Tank (SPMBT). The patch, which is available at http://www.shrapnelgames.com/SPCamo/spmbt.htm brings the game up to version 3.01, from the initial release of version 3.00.
The patch includes many enhancements to the game, and corrects a number of bugs. These changes include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Thirteen updated scenarios from the original release, plus one brand new scenario.
· Newly revised order-of-battle file.
· New and updated maps.
· Random crashes on the XP operating system have been eliminated.
· Units not placed in landing craft and left in a sea hex during deployment will drown on the first turn.
· Many more tweaks, fiddles, and goodies.
SP Camo Workshop's SPMBT is a completely FREE reworking of the now classic Steel Panthers game originally published through SSI in the mid-nineties. SPMBT is the sister game to SP Camo Workshop's other Steel Panthers game, SPWW2, which as you can probably surmise deals with the Second World War (and will also cost you absolutely nothing more than the time to download it), while SPMBT focuses on modern combat.
