Electronic Arts president and chief operating officer John Riccitiello has officially resigned from his posts citing plans to launch a private equity business.
Riccitiello, however, will remain in his position for an unspecified about of time to ease the transition, before chief executive officer Larry Probst adds Riccitiello’s job duties on an interim basis.
EA said it would “evaluate candidates to join the company’s senior leadership team.”
