SCEE gives concept approval for Engine's first PSP title.

Engine Software, developer based in the Netherlands, today announces the development of PSP Racing (working title), Engine's first title for Sony's PlayStation Portable. Scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2005.

'PSP Racing', set in a SciFi dark industrial environment, and offers a great variety of gameplay features, extra characters and game modes. The racer will utilize network and connectivity options.

Ruud van de Moosdijk, Engine Software's Head of Development: "We acquired an official license from Sony and we are proud to present 'PSP Racing' as a launch title. We feel the PlayStation Portable will enrich the games industry, and we have high expectations for this new device. The PSP offers so many features that it is best described as a portable entertainment system, rather than only a gaming handheld."
